Voice and Music Lessons
Teaching singing, music theory, and vocal performance. Prepare for auditions, college applications, or upcoming theatre productions.
Voice lessons offered in Newtown Square, PA, conveniently located to both Route 3 and the Blue Route. Lessons are affordable in price for students beginning at middle-school age, through high-school, college, and adults. All lessons are 1 hour in length. Students will receive vocal musical theater technique and training in preparation for auditions, current productions, and general vocal development.
About Jackie
Jackie Langley earned her M.M. in Music Education with a Concentration in Music Technology at West Chester University and a combined B.M degree in Instrumental & General/Vocal Education from The Catholic University of America. She has taught choral music for almost 2 decades in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Currently Jackie is the Choral Director at Haverford Middle School where she was honored in 2016 and 2022 as a Quarter Finalist for the Grammy Foundation’s Music Educator Award. Jackie has Music Directed productions at many schools and theaters including Upper Darby Performing Arts Center's Summer Stage, The Players Club of Swarthmore, Westland Middle School, Thomas S. Wootton High School, Haverford High School, Haverford Middle School, and Manoa Elementary School. Over the past 20 years Jackie has also performed in many theatrical productions and has been casted in many memorable roles such as Alice Beane (Titanic), Golde (Fiddler on the Roof), and Alice Miller (My Favorite Year). As a teacher and performer Jackie provides an opportunity to share her knowledge of musical theater and performance techniques for her students to utilize in voice lessons, auditions, or on the stage.
